Jason Olsen received the Elma Business of the Quarter award on behalf of Edward Jones Investments’ Elma branch from Elma Chamber of Commerce president Kerry Dickman and chamber director Debbie Adolphsen this week. The plaque praises the business’“enhancement to Elma and support of the business community.” Olsen, who has been with Edward Jones since 2000, also owns the year-old building that’s spiffed up the property at 305 W.
Waldrip. He has two full time employees, Bernadette Bower and Moja Burbidge. Olsen served as Elma Chamber president for four years and on the board of directors for two years and is active in Satsop Dollars for Scholars. All advertising and sponsorship dollars go to community youth organizations or activities, Adolphsen noted. |

The Elma Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has chosen Lenherr Surveying, PLLC as Business of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2009. The company was selected for its enhancement of the city and its support for local businesses and youth groups. Jeff Lenherr, owner, was presented with a plaque by Kerry Dickman, Chamber President, at his office on April 7, 2009. Lenherr Surveying, PLLC has been in business in Elma since 1999. Lenherr Surveying, PLLC employs nine full-time employees and up to thirteen employees on a seasonal basis.

Lenherr Surveying, PLLC is at the forefront of technology, education and experience in their field. The surveying firm conducts boundary surveys, construction staking and topographic surveys. The company also includes in-house Global Positioning Systems equipment.
When he isn’t at work Jeff Lenherr coaches the Elma Boys Varsity Soccer team as well as the Montesano Girls Varsity Soccer team.
