ELMA — The Elma Chamber of Commerce has named the Dennis Company business of the quarter for July through September 2010. The Dennis Company has been in Elma since 1978 and remodeled in 2003, adding 3,000 square feet of retail floor space, according to its manager of almost a decade, Ginger Sidor.

The Elma business, located at 115 S. Fourth St., has nine employees and, besides offering a wide variety of products, is also involved in the community, including sponsoring high school scholarships, East Grays Harbor Little League, the McCleary Foundation Association, Elma Game Club and 4-H.

The chamber membership chose the Dennis Company as business of the quarter “for their on-going support of the local community,” said chamber president, Renée Dunham.  Additionally, “their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful for every project,” providing a “valuable service … to our community and one that we all depend on,” she added.
